Equipment Loan Programs
Equipment loan programs make used and donated medical equipment available to persons living with ALS.  Check with your doctor, ALS clinic, hospital, or ALS organization for availability and eligibility criteria.

Ask for Help
Need a hand? Needing help is a common experience for everybody but can be emotionally difficult for someone with ALS. MDA's Quest Magazine has a good article about asking for help.

Support Groups
Support groups are a wonderful way to meet other people living with ALS and to learn from them ... WHEN YOU ARE READY. Before attending a support group, perhaps a friend or loved one can attend a support group and report back to you on what it was like.
